58 front suspension

Getting ready to put my rebuilt front suspension back on. Does the bolts that attaches it to the frame need to be painted or not?

Brandon,

Would expect to see blackened bolts that connect the front cross member to the frame.

Front suspension was a complete assembly provided to and install at St.Louis.

As John Hinckley taught me, if there's a part number listed in the AIM, then it was installed at the factory.
