    FI Car anti-theft device

Was working on the 59 FI car today and thought how easy it would be to install a hidden shut-off switch in the wiring going to the solenoid shut -off valve. Anyone done this as a prevention against theft? Al

Al if you drive around with the pump drive cable bare (i.e. not inside its normal casing), it's a simple matter to take the cable with you when you park the car.

Al, Just do what you mentioned on the solenoid shut off valve.(siphon breaker solenoid) Very easy to put a switch on the wiring. John
