1984-Keys

I have been asked to determine how many sets of keys were furnished originally with the 1984 Corvette.

The owner's manual only states that a set of keys was furnished. One for the door and one for the ignition.

Does not mention if there were one or two sets.

Also were the key blanks identified as A and B ?

Trying to resolve a question that came up at the National last week.

I received two sets of keys upon delivery with my early model 84. I don't know if the keys were labelled. Oh my, how time flies by. Still remember being stopped constantly so people could see the dash!

Pat there would be no way that GM would send the new owner just one set of keys. I really don't recall key blanks if they were A and B. I was worked a Chevrolet dealership at that time and prepped a few brand new 84's.

This question was asked of me by an Interior Judge at the National and I said I would canvas the Board.
