Jack after market suppliers like Monroe will have different qualities If you choose Monroe make sure to get there top line. I believe they are a lifetime warrenty also. KYB is another quality manufacturer. Delco is just a reboxer these days so your paying more for the same product which is likely Monroe with there own labels.New England chapter member, 63 Convert. 327/340- Chapter/Regional/national Top Flight, 72 coupe- chapter and regional Top Flight.- Top

Re: Some what off-topic but still GM cars
Thanks Ed for your input. Now I need to decide which is better between the two ( Monroe or KYB) ? The KYB's are $30.00 more, a rather small amount. Considering the OE originals have abut 83K on them, the replacement struts should last until it's time for a new car-some time down the road. Again, any and all opinions appreciated! Thanks, Jack J.- Top

Re: Some what off-topic but still GM cars
Thanks Pat for your reply. Rock's website lists GM Original Equipment struts at $79.00 to $88.00 OVER the KYB or Monroe struts at $67.00 and $58.00 respectively. Obviously a HUGE difference in price!!! Just looking for the best for the price. Doing the work myself as a satisfying challenge, having done 1 other GM car in the past. Jack J.- Top
