What intrigues me is the 2nd last line. What is "8__CYL__CONDITIONING".

The last line seems to be some sort of shipping instructions: "TAG__CC__DA__SMITH__TRI-COUNTY CHEV"

Vin is 05348; prior to the general release of RPO L89.

My guess is if the car was really an L89, the price would be a lot higher. I actually like the car better before it was restored.

I was also intrigued by that item on the tank sticker. Further research revealed a statement from John Hinckley from 2008 stating "8 Cylinder Conditioning" was the equivalent of dealer prep, and is found on the tank stickers of cars that were ordered for company service and delivered directly to a GM facility instead of being delivered through a dealer. It was an accounting code that reimbursed the receiving GM location for doing the dealer prep on the car.
