    63 Draw string bag contents

I was wonder if there is suppose to be anything other than the hardtop wrench in the draw string bag? during my last judging at the chapter level there was a mention of a couple of rubber washers. even know they where installed on the bolts through the rear deck lid. What is you thought on this? There really is not anything on the bag or wrench or contents That I can find in the new JM.

Thanks Harry I forgot about a older post. It had me thinking if there may have anything else. I have been going through my hit lists,

        Ed -

Go to your A.I.M., section C07, sheet 6.00, item #23 washer; note that it says "See Misc. Shipping List Sect. 14". Now go to Sect. 14, sheet A8.00, Miscellaneous Shipping List, second-to-last item on the chart, #3827499 washer - roof panel mounting, RPO C07, note [11], place in bag.

Those are the two black rubber washers that are supposed to be used under the head of the hardtop carriage hold-down bolt when the top is not on the car, to prevent rain or wash water from leaking through the hold-down bolt ferrule into the rear compartment. When the top IS on the car (like when it was shipped from St. Louis), those two washers go in the cloth bag with the wrench - they aren't needed with the top installed, as the hold-down ferrules and bolts are inboard of the top weatherstrip; that's why they're shown as being in the bag in the glove box with the top installed.
