Hello All - I plan to replace the rubber link bushings on my 66' L72 and have reviewed the Archives about doing this. Would someone please provide the recommended step by step process for this job, it will be my first time doing it? Also, I assume the various Corvette vendors sell the same type and quality replacement rubber bushings? Thanks and have a good 4th of July.

Re: Replace Rubber Link Bushings on Rear Leaf Spring
John,
Four or five (?) years ago Lee Brock and I wrote an article for the Restorer showing how to safely replace the retainer cups at the end of the rear spring main leaf with the spring installed in the car. I don't have a copy of that article handy, but I could track down the PDF. The exact same technique would work to replace the rubber bushings.
