    NCRS v. Bloomington Gold Judging

Any body ever had a car judged at Bloomington? Which organization has the biggest trophy for 1st place. I'm thinking about taking my 78 two four barrel Corvette for judging. Does it cost anything to get in at Bloomington to get your car judged? If it does, that isn't fair. Somebody said the judges are smarter at Bloomington cause there are not as many and they only have 3 minutes to judge each car. I heard Bloomington judges dress better.

    Which organization is better?

Thanks for any information cause I need to get tires if I go to Bloomington so, let's make it quick.

    Sincerely
    Kramden

I heard the trophy at Bloomington is a huge bus that has crashed...and also heard you just got a set of tars delivered via NY, MD, PA & FL...so you should be good to go...can't attest to the dress code, never been to Bloomington and don't have any plans to go in the future...bet that '78 really flies with the two 4's do you get 200hp out of it?

I think you'd have more fun taking that 78 to a dog show.

Mark,I added a rear wing to my 67, Redbird, so it an fly there from AZ. Should make it judge better too with the wing and the added decals for speed. Heading out Tuesday early AM, 1700 trailer miles, so needed the added wing!John

Only because it is bright yellow with chrome mounts bolted on the fastback and lots of go fast stickers on it!

I'd yank that 2x4 setup and replace it with a nice 8-71 or 10-71 blower with a chrome Enderle Bug-Catcher and a Joe Hunt Vertex Mag; that will distract the judges just long enough to use up their time allocation and you'll be home free. Make sure you declare the engine as "I Don't Know" so you get Gold.

I guess sleepingvin the car is not an option. Wife and I did it once at Daytona 24 hours, she slept while I roamed and watched. Come to think of it she never went to another race with me. We don't talk about it and I don't invite her. Funny, she always wanted to go BEFORE we were married.

I have it on good authority from a prominent member in the SW corner of PA that BG was last weekend. Joke's on you, fly-boy.
