Blue Flame blue engine paint

Hello friends, this is not my usual subject but I'm helping another person. Do you know a present vendor code or formula for this paint used in 53-55 vette engines.

Jack Reeves was the only fellow to the best of my knowledge that WAS making this. I don't think he does it anymore. He used to own a business called 53-62 Corvette Place in North Carolina. I went through this last year. I found a PPG "Fleet" color that matched a color chip. I sprayed my 54 block, heads, etc. with that. I'll look up the PPG Fleet number for you, if I still have it. I had a gallon mixed, kept some extra for myself, and gave the rest of the can to a friend to use on his 53. The "mix" info might have been on the can. Chuck

I checked...don't have it. I eMailed my bud that has the original gallon can. The PPG number is on the can. Hope he gets back to me with the info. Don't know if you have access to PPG paints in Argentina. PPG is Pittsburgh Plate Glass. They make "fleet" colors....literally thousands of shades. I looked through a book of blue and turquoise tints at a friends body shop. That book had literally hundreds of shades of "blue". Chuck

Yes, there is a PPG agent in Argentina. They don't offer all kind of paints but they are able to crossref codes to find a match. Thanks for the time, appreciate it.

The Los Angeles Times has recently had in its' antiques/classics classifieds a dealer's "1954 Corvette Blue Frame 6".
Now that must be a real classic.
