corvette hood

I have an old hood for a corvette in storage. I have no clue what year corvette it is for. How would I find out what year it is for, so that I can advertise to sell it.

If you could generally describe it, perhaps myself or someone else on the board could tell you what it is. Otherwise, you will have to look at pictures of old Corvettes in any of several Corvette "picture books" to identify it. You could also look for a molded-in part number on the underside of the hood, although I doubt you'll find one.

1) Scan a picture in and post it on a Vette forum or, 2) Locate an illustrated aftermarket parts catalog (Ecklers?)
