Re: C2 - Radio Installation
I copied and pasted this from another site. It tells how to remove a C2 radio. I can only assume it is the reverse to install it.
Remove both side panels. On the driver's side you must disconnect the power antenna switch (if applicable) and unclip the signal flasher. Remove the horseshoe console moulding. Disconnect the antenna, power and speaker cables from the radio. Remove the radio knobs, bezels and nuts from the tuning/volume shafts. Carefully push the radio forward (front of car) until the shafts are our out the panel. Rotate the radio so that the bottom is facing the driver's side and gently slide it out. It may be necessary to depress the push buttons, one by one, in order to provide adequate clearance as you slide the radio out. If you are also removing the speaker then you will need to remove the glove box with its frame.
Hope this helps.

Re: C2 - Radio Installation
Thanks George.
I had tried to remove the horseshoe console moldings, but could not. The reason being there are two clips riveted to the molding (that hold the side panels in place) I can't get by front of the console.
Any other secrets would be gratefully appreciated.

Re: C2 - Radio Installation
Terry,
I believe that there is also an attaching screw that goes into the pass. side od of the radio anchoring it to the cetner panel to prevent bounce. Not sure id John mentioned it.
