1966 Vette A/C Idle Solenoid

I have a question reguarding 1966 vette with air, eng.327/350 is there a idle solenoid of some kind on the carb. to increase the idle when the air is on ? My idle drops so low the car almost stalls. Looked in Nolan's book but did't see one, HELP!!!

I have a 67 327/350 and there is no solenoid, I don't believe there was in 66 either. My idle drops about 150 rpm when the air is on at idle, so if I set it around 800-850 without the air, I get 650-700 with the air on. It seems reasonable.....is yours dropping more?....Craig

No idle control solenoid was used on ANY 1966 application, A/C-equipped or otherwise. The first A/C idle control solenoid was used for some 1968 Corvette A/C applications.
