HAS ANY ONE DEALT WITH CRANES CORVETTE OUT OF CALIF. FOR ROLLING CHASSIS FOR A C 3,IF SO HOW NICE ARE THE FRAMES AND HOW COMPLETE ARE THEY?

Mark - I have purchased several times from Cranes in San Diego. I find David a little overbearing to say the least, but once you get past his personality, he has always been very prompt and professional in his dealings and support. One time I had an issue with a tripower air cleaner base and he quickly exchanged it without fuss. I also bought a complete smog system for my 67 and trailing arms to replace the pitted ones on my 67. He does have a lot of CA parts that have not seen corrosion. My trailing arms looked almost like NOS as far as condition, they had zero pitting. My point being, I let him know I was looking for good surface condition, and he made a big point of his parts condition. I suspect that if you get a frame from him, it will be in the condition he stipulates. I can't answer your question on completeness of rolling chassis, but just get specific with him about your expectations. He tends to be pricey, but I have never been dissapointed in the quality, but I don't enjoy working with him as far as his rushed and hyper attitude....kind of reminds me of what it must be like to work with John Force.....Craig
