ANYONE KNOW WHERE I CAN GET THE CAPACITOR THAT GOES ON THE GENERATOR FOR MY 1961? I TRIED A COUPLE OF PARTS CATALOGS, BUT NO ONE CARRIES IT. THANKS, JOE

Joe- Chicago Corvette usually has them in stock and on Ebay there is a fella going
by the nickname of "enginehunter"that regularly sells them. Look for a #1911095"
cap.They usually sell for about $30 a pop.

You will most likely need a second job to afford the Paragon capacitor and the shipping. I just bought the voltage regulator capacitor fr my 61 from "our own" John Pirkle and I believe he has the 095 capacitors for the generator. Its always best to give our business to people who deserve it. Mine was about $25.

I am not plugging Paragon's prices, but I just purchased a used ammeter capacitor (wax impregnated) from Paragon for $25.
