i got into a fender bender and did a good job on my driver front bumper, anybody have experience with repro bumpers, or originals or repairing and rechroming what i think are already aftermarket bumpers, i'm trying to figure out the best approach, car is a very decent correct engine nunber matching car, any comment are appreciated, thanks, joe

Joe, I think Paragon has the GM repop contract. But there are a lot of good cores and replated ones out there. Plenty on ebay but thats a risk without having in your hands first. -

Joe- From my experience on my C-1 get a good core and get it replated by a reliable
plater.The repro chrome out there is mostly flashed chromed (lacks a thick copper base) and the finish wont last as long.I have one bumper that I chromed in the late 70s still looking new. If memory serves me right Martins of Philly was the plater.Comment
