I have an Al Knoch interior in my '57. What can I use to clean the vinyl with that won't hurt it? There are some dark stains on the red that are of undetermined origin (ie grease or paint- from previous owner). Thanks

Re: Cleaning up
Mild detergent (like liguid hand soap) and warm water applied with a soft brush is the safest. If it takes more than that, there are bottled cleaners for vinyl sold at auto supply stores. Upholstery vinyl is somewhat porous (to allow it to "breath"), however, so there's no guarantee that you'll be able to get all the stains out without damaging the color.- Top

Re: Cleaning up
Ron, I have always had great results with any of the products from Meguiars. If you go to their web site you can tell them your problem and they will get back to you with an answer in short order. They also support the old car hobby extensively and that helps me to spend my $ with those who care about me and what I like.
