C2 Refinishing

My 1967 C2 convertible will be heading off for a refinishing next month. Are there any recommended sources for: high quality replacement weatherstripping and possibly a body panel if required ? I see both in every catalogue but have no idea if there is a premiere vendor.

Mike - Corvette image or Semersheims are supposedly the best glass sources, I think I would opt for Corvette Image personally. If you can find GM weatherstrip you have the best....but here is a post from Patrick back on 10/21:

Larry,

1. If available, GM weatherstripping is by far the best, bar none. It's also much more expensive.

2. Only two companies currently reproduce weatherstripping for your Corvette: Corvette Rubber, and Metro Moulded Parts. Everyone else sells their product(s). I suggest seeing both in person. In my opinion, Metro is slightly softer and smoother. The Corvette Rubber products are "slightly" more original in appearance, but also can be identified once you've seen GM vs. CR. vs. MMP. The Corvette Rubber products are also carried by the majority of vendors and are usually less expensive.
