I just found a part number at GM for side exhaust rocker trim and retaining plate. I think this is new part number, anyone know? It's PN 3933846, MLDG UNIT.

Re: Anyone seen the sidepipe rocker trim from GM
Scott-----
This is the SERVICE replacement rocker sill molding for 65-67 Corvettes with side exhaust. It is used for either side. This part replaced the original almost 35 years ago and was never used in 65-67 PRODUCTION; it was released in late 1968 and the original discontinued about the same time. How or if it differs from the original part in any discernable way, I could not tell you. I have never studied or concentrated any attention, whatsoever, on Corvette side exhaust systems, either the 65-67 or the 69 variety. I never intend to, either. In Appreciation of John Hinckley- Top

I bought that "molding unit" in 1996 and used it on my Grand Sport - it came with the retainer strips, and looked just like originals I had on earlier production cars; I had to dress the inboard side of the pointed ends a little to get the ends to fit flush, but other than that it looked fine.- Top
