I've got to remove the fuel pump on my '62. I forget how I did it the last time. I think I blocked out details of the experience because I do remember it was very difficult. I do remember that MOST of this work was accomplished from underneath the car. But I can't remember if ALL of it was done from there. Can anyone enlighten me?
Would removing the generator and exhaust manifold help?
(Reason I ask is for planning purposes. Repair work on this car is always done in conjunction with something else. Because I don't have a lift, I plan my underneath-the-car projects together. And I'm considering whether to remove the generator and RH exhaust manifold for other reasons. But I'd rather not right now.)
