Recommended paint for 396 intake

I have sampled "Alumi-Blast" on my intake but it appears a bit on the bright side.

Is the bright aluminum finish provided by "Alumi-Blast" correct?

If not, what should I use?

Mine is natural cast aluminum with original 'skin' from casting, no paint. Typically, bead blasting breaks the original 'skin'....
