Distributor ID - 1110920

Picked up a distributor at Englishtown. It is a 1110920. The assy date is May 9, 1958. Could someone please help me with the application. It does not appear to be for a corvette and my Motor manuals only go back to 1959. It looks to be a chevrolet probably for a 283.

GM #1110920 was originally used for 1958 Chevrolet passenger car with 185 hp 283 cid engine.
