Does anyone know of a good waterproof carcover that is going to last? When i have mine outside sometimes i have a coverite 100 percent waterproof car cover but it is waterproof for one year and then starts to leak through a little.

The only 2 "waterproof" car cover fabrics on the market that I am aware of are Kimberly-Clark's Evolution IV and Noah. These are a multi-layer, cellulose fibers with hydrophobic center layer(s). Exposed to the constant effects of weather, both sun and rain, the hydrophobic properties of the covers will, in time, break down and water may permeate the cover to one degree or another.
As far as a 100% waterproof cover that will remain so for the entire structural life of the cover, I don't know of one.In Appreciation of John Hinckley -

Waterproof=paint stripper
Eventually, humidity will get under a 100% waterproof cover, and the next sunny day will start steaming your paint off. Go with one of the "water resistant" synthetic covers.Comment

The one i have now has vents in it but it dosn't let water in. So there is no worry about moister under the cover. You just have to buy a new cover every year because it starts to get water seeping through a little.Comment
