    Is it okay to upgrade parts like plain rubber suspension bushings to poly bushings and to upgrade standard brakes and brake lines to stainlees steel kits without points deductions?

          Bad Idea...

          Unless you race the car, and will not be driving the car regularly. Daily use will rapidly wear the bushings, creating rattling and squeaking. Not to mention ride harshness sufficient to make a "ka-thump" when you drive over a stripe on the road.
