Is there anything simple I can check myself. My 1982 CE motor is giving me a hesitation off the line and when it shifts into 3rd and Overdrive it is very sluggish. I brought it to the Chevy daeler and they told me that I just need to drive it more, my plugs were black. I took the plugs out to look at them, they didn't seem that bad. They were Bosche Platinums, I replaced them with the factory spec AC Delco's, it runs worse now. My car only has 11,000 miles on it and I'm not sure what to do next. I do think I will put the Bosche's back in though.
