    Stuck Temp Gauge

My temp gauge is stuck at 150, all temps. Wiring seems fine, no loose connections. How do I test for a bad gauge or sending unit ?

Mike if you ground out the wire that goes to the temp. sender
the gauge should peg to hot. Rob

      Caution!

Make above recommedation read: "...ground the temp sending wire MOMENTARILY..."

You don't want to carry too much current for too long on this branch circuit AND if the gauge was faulty because the movement was 'stuck', you can force an off-scale deflection that's so hard/so strong you CAN kill the gauge....
