63 SWC Expansion Tank Decal

I noticed in the Fact Book that there is a green decal on the expansion tank with a letter or number on it. I did't see it in the JG. My 340hp SWC was built Aug 2nd 1963. Is the green decal required and if so what should the letter/number be and where can one acquire such a decal? Thanks a bunch!

Bob,

It's a green inspection number "8" for the expansion tank and a green "3" for aluminum radiators. Try Paragon 800-882-4688 part number 8160 for the "8" and 8197 for the "3". $2.00 each.
