73 Anti-Theft Alarm System

Could someone explain how the system works. In reviewing the wiring diagram the wires going to the three switches, white wire number 976, do not connect to the horn, relay or flasher, just themselves. There is a white wire coming from the flasher than runs to the relay coil outout side and a second white wire that stops without connecting to any other wire. Is the wiring diagram wrong? Also how does the relay stay energized as the current is cycled when the horn blows and then turns off and how is the horn grounded, it appears the power feeds through the horn, flasher and back to the relay?
