What is thge correct appearing plug for the rear of my 60 WCFB carburetor?
I am talking about the pipe plug that goes in the throttle plate in the rear.
What material, and what head style on the plug? If anyone has a pic it would be appreciated, as every book I have does not show the rear of the carb.

Pipe plug is cast steel and a square 7/16 head, that is what I have always seen on my 55's and CARS

Every old WCFB I've worked on had a 1/4" NPT hex-head brass plug; don't know if that's original or not, but that's all I've seen.

Thanks John, I have now had several different descriptions of the head and material including square and hex head and steel and brass material. I was hoping this was one of those questions that had a pat answer, but it would appear that it is probably not a judged item and there is no correct answer. It appears to probably be hex head in one old photo I came across today, but the material is not obvious in the black and white photo. I have looked at old WCFB carbs for years and can't honestly remember paying any attention to the plug!
