Hello. Just wondering if anyone has purchased fan belts from Quanta products and your opinion on the fit and performance.

Re: Quanta Fan Belts-C3
Brian,
I purchased a complete set of belts from them for a 69 L-71 with power steering. The fit was perfect and the performance has been excellent. In addition they are great folks to work with.

Re: Quanta Fan Belts-C3
Had a set on my '71 SB that I both drive and show. One broke in the middle of nowhere and I replaced it. A second belt broke and I gave up! There was less than 8K miles of use and my impression was you get a nice reproduction for show but don't expect the technology to compete with today's cut belts....
So, I got a cross reference to equivalent size belts from what Mr. Goodwrench sells today and replaced the whole set putting the cloth wrapped reproductions aside in the garage. That was 40K miles ago and I've had NO PROBLEMS since and still get partial concours credit for these belts as they ARE bona fide GM Service Replacements with GM ID emboss....
Last, expect the correct/repro belts to fit properly ONLY if your car has not had pulleys swapped in its lifetime. Most of the pulleys have the GM PN embossed (front or back side) and it's wise to do a survey and compare to the AIM before you order a set of cloth wrapped repro belts....- Top

Re: Quanta Fan Belts-C3
I have comlete sets on three of my cars, no problems. And I agree with Jack, make sure your pulleys are correct first.1967 L79 Sunfire Yellow Black Leather Convertible- Duntov
