Pete, Look to your assembly manual for instructions on how it was done on the assembly line. Yes you have to cut fiberglass. There isn't a better sound in the world than a mid year with side exhaust. But keep in mind it is just about impossable to add this option and get away with on the judging field.- Top

Thanks Pete for your response, my car was produced from the factory with side exhaust of which arew no longer with us. The problem I seem to have is with fitting the replacements and was woundering if anyone this is a common problem with replacement pipes.- Top

Pete;
sounds like you will have to bend up on them. I don't have exeperience with the stainless steel ones but that material is cantancarous for all other under car systems as well. Watch the growth problems with stainless also. May be a good idea to use the engine to heat them up and be prepared to bend at the same time, that way they will stress-releive and the attachment point in the back will be at full growth. Also they will discolor at the proper points vs useing a torch. Davidavid- Top
