I received the following email today from "postmaster":

The following mail can't be sent to joelucia@home.com:

To: joelucia@home.com
Subject: Agreement
The attachment is the original mail

Needless to say, I did not open the attachment labeled "agreement". No doubt some sort of virus.

I think that this must be a manifestation of the currently epidemic virus that was discussed recently here. My joelucia@home e-mail address was "de-activated" about a year ago when AT&T dropped excite@home and went to their own network. The virus must have pulled that e-mail address of off of some else's e-mail contact list which still included my obsolete e-mail address.

Yes, I knew that was the case. We haven't corresponded directly in several weeks. Just wanted to alert everyone to not open those attachments.
