'63 Coupe interior trim screw hole stripped

    Help!
The lower screw on the vertical passenger B-pillar painted moulding (the piece above the carboard, vinyl covered trim)will not grab tight in it's hole. Seems as though the hole is now slightly too large.
Is there any way to get the screw tight to the inner b pillar on the body without removing the moulding which has been freshly restored/repainted?

Try wrapping the screw thread with a thin piece of fabric - like from an old bedsheet or T-shirt. I've used this method with some success when I didn't want to tear everything apart to install an insert.

take one of those 2 part epoxy applicators where both solutions come out a common pointed applicator and insert it into the hole. wait 24 hours and then drill the epoxy for the screw.
