I am now installing vintage air in my mid year 1966 cpe. I have a couple of questions, the duct work that you use is not clamped down,It looks like tabs on the plastic hold it in place, is this strong enough to do the job?, and I ran the duct work for my passenger side duct like they say, and it looks like the glove box isn't going to fit now, has any one else had this problem? as always thanks in advance. I have heard that the vintage air solution blocks reinstallation of the glove box, whereas the old air solution allows it's use. I can't comment on the mounting etc. Craig -

Glove box in my "Vintage Air" equipped car fits fine and is the original glovebox liner. I can't remember the exact answer to your question (I have CRS, Can't remember ****) as my unit has been in this car 5 years but I do know the glove box fits as I was in the glove box yesterday. I followed the instructions and had no installation problems.
