C3 - Door Light switch

Hi all:

I seem to have a reoccuring problem with my door light switches. They are the ones at the front of the door which turn on or off the lights when the doors are open. They will turn on in the middle of the night by themselves and drain the battery. Any thoughts or tricks on shiming them or should I just pick up repros at Carlisle? Also any thoughts on a vendor or source for the switches is appreciated.

Does your car have a courtesy light timer? That might be the problem.
