    Brake hanging up

Hello, I was at a cruise yesterday and It was about 95 degrees the car was running hot about 220 to 235 going home which it usualy runs about 220 when it's real hot out. I drove for about an hour to get home then pulled in the driveway and the front driver side wheel started smoking. apparently the caliper was hung up. Then the brake hose blew off and shot brake fluid all over the place. The master cylinder was extremly hot to the touch. All the other wheels were cool to the touch. The calipers are about 4 monthes old. The master cylinder is orginal. Do you think it was the mater cylinder going bad that caused this? Thanks Eric

I think that from the information given that your rubber brake line going to the wheel malfunctioned and would not allow the applied pressure release.

It is common for the rubber brake lines to collapse. You may have to re-kit that caliper if it got that hot. You also should check the wheel bearing.
