    1961 exhaust sleeve

Is there a sleeve that goes between the exhaust manifold and exhaust pipe. Some catalogs list the manifold, donut gasket, a sleeve and then the exhaust pipe. Thanks for the help, Joe

Yes, there is such a sleeve. It keeps the donut from blowing out.

      chris and joe------

Sometimes, aftermarket exhaust systems will have this sleeve as an integral part of the forward exhaust pipe. The sleeves required for most C1s are GM discontinued. However, you should be able to find a suitable replacement in many auto parts stores or a muffler shop. No one will know that your sleeve is not "genuine GM".

These sleeves were an integral part of OEM pipes. They were already attached.
