    Avalible piston sizes for 350

What are ALL the piston sizes avalible for rebuilding 350's. And from whom? (ie dealer, trw....)

And were not talking about strokers or anything fancy.

    Thanks

    Tim------

    standard, +.020", +.030" (most common), +.040", +.060"

I don't know of any others, but there may be some. GM also offers pistons in +.001", but this is, basically, for standard bore engines which just need a light honing to clean them up or for "high standard" standard bore engines.

The above piston oversizes are available from Federal-Mogul/Sealed Power/TRW (all the same company now). All of the above sizes are available in cast and hypereutectic cast. I don't know, at the moment, if all are available in forged.

Any automotive supply house should be able to order them for you.

      Joe,
can the original 11 to 1 L46 pistons still be ordered? If so, are they forged or cast only?

        Mike-----

The 1969-70 L-46 and 1970 LT-1 pistons are no longer available from GM. However, reasonably close replacement pistons can be ordered from Federal-Mogul/TRW/Speed-Pro under their part number L2304F. These pistons are forged, as original, and will produce a compression ratio of about 10.6:1.

A better choice would be Keith Black hypereurectic pistons, but that's another story.
