C1 1954 heater wiring, cig lighter

I can't find anywhere in the wiring diagrams how to get power to my heater, and also to the cig. lighter? Any help would be appreciated.

    Thanks, Peter

    Peter -

Don't know about the '54 (couldn't find the lighter on the wiring diagram either), but on a '57 the lighter is fed (along with the clock and the light switch) by a 14 ga. red wire from the "B" terminal on the horn relay. The (optional, and thus not on the diagram either) heater blower is fed from the accessory junction block through a dedicated fuse.

I got the wire to the junction block, but there is another Black wire, about 18" long that I am confused about. Will see if the cig lighter will work using your suggestion.

        Peter -

On a '56-'57, all the (optional) items (radio, heater, park brake warning light, etc.) are fed from individual fuses on the accessory fuse block; the feed for the heater goes from the fuse block to the blower speed switch on the control cable, and another lead goes from the blower speed switch to the heater blower motor.

. Ground heater and cig lighter to top stud holding clock into dash. Power to heater starts at acc. terminal block (brown wire) into heater switch, then goes to connector on heater assembly under clip (red wire). Cig power comes from stud on battery gauge to center of lighter (red wire). Light for cig well connects to light switch.
