C3 - 78 turn signal problem

Here are the symptoms:

- left turn signal works fine
- right turn signal dash indicator comes on, stays on, but neither front nor rear turn signals light up or flash
- right brake light does not work
- parking lights all work fine

The right-rear bulb *looks* ok and I'm assuming that since the left turn signal works, the flasher is OK. So my theory is the turn signal switch also completes the brake light circuit and the switch itself is bad. Does this sound right?

Lesson 1 - Don't assume that because you can't see a broken filament, the bulb is OK. A new bulb took care of it. Sorry for wasting bandwidth on this bonehead problem.
