1108446 1E25, these are the id numbers off a stater I have. What year and vehicle would it belong to? Thanks

Your starter originally resided on a 1971 Pontiac with 400 or 455 CID engine. Due to its manufacturing date of May 25, 1971, it was likely installed on a very late build 1971, although it's not possible to tell exactly which model.

Very easy to understand. Commercial rebuilders are not very picky about "numbers". Functionality and interchangeability are what's important to them. And, the Pontiac starter is interchangeable with the Chevrolet. This is particularly true of the frame section of the starter, which may be all that remains of the original Pontiac starter, anyway. The frame section is the part with the "numbers" on it.
