Everything being correct, does the space between the "ADD" and "FULL" on the dipstick generally represent one quart of oil ? I'm trying to guesstimate oil consumption. Thanks all

Yes, everything being correct, the difference in oil capacity between the "add" and "full" marks is approximately 1 quart. If the dipstick, upper dipstick tube, and oil pan are not properly matched, then this may not hold true.In Appreciation of John Hinckley- Top
