1961 Temperature Sender

Need the part number and correct nomenclature. Was it a "Variable, Unit, Sending, Resistor, Temperature"?

Group 1.150, Part Number 1513321, Sending Unit (electric)I believe manufacturer was AC Spark plug Div of GM in Flint Mich.

Yes, that's the one. I believe that this unit was used from 1957 through 1967 for all Corvette applications and other GM applications with gauges. It is a button type terminal unit. It was discontinued several years ago and replaced by GM #12334869. I'm told that folks often have calibration problems with the latter unit.

My copy of '29-60 Chevy P&A Catalog calls out the following, Dale.

"Gauge, Water Temp (Engine Unit)" Part No. 1513321.

What's the application for a 151321? I suspect a typo somewhere in GM documentation.
