    Some questions

I have some questions regarding to my restoration of my 62 corvette. I have started to work on taking the frame off of my 62 corvette. I am wondering if I should either powdercoat the frame or use a flat black paint?

I am turing the car into a driver only (NOT NCRS judging).

Also, how much should I post a rear license plate and bumpers for (61 or 62)? Also, has anyone worked with Corvette Express in Vacaville Ca? I am having them run a quote for me for some fiberglass work). I would appreciate any input.

    Re: frame paint

For a driver, powdercoating is the most durable, and the most expensive, but may come out looking a bit thick. I used a flattened Imron 2-stage paint over primer on mine. Another approach is to do both... powdercoat or Imron with a coat of original-type paint on top of that to make it look more original.
