    1969 427/390 replacement radiator

The present radiator in my car is copper with a Harrison number 3019190. I'm not sure if this is correct or not but in any case it must be replaced. Can someone tell me if what I had is correct and what to do about replacing it with one that can be used for judging? If not what is the point loss for a replacement? I really appreciate the help from everyone. Thanks again, Art Ives

GM #3019190 is the correct radiator for your application. This radiator is GM-discontinued. It's replacement is configured considerably different than the 3019190. My recommendation: have your existing radiator recored by a competent automotive radiator shop. That way, you'll retain the correct tank configuration and have an as-new radiator functionally (the most important attribute for a DRIVEN car). The radiator core configuration may differ somwhat from original, so you may not have a 100% correct unit. But, you'll have as close as you can come unless you can find an NOS example of the 3019190 (and some later SERVICE examples of this radiator may not be 100% correct as used in PRODUCTION, anyway).
