Larry Fischer at D&L Transmission

I've bought 4-speed transmission parts from Larry in the past and found him to be an excellent supplier. This morning I tried his old(?) phone number, (516) 351-4837, in Huntington Station, N.Y., and I got a recording saying that number was no longer in service.

Can anyone tell me if Larry has a new number or if something has happened to him?

I think that the infernal telephone confuser of the times may be "at work" here. Namely, the plethora and continuing expansion of new telephone area codes. Try area code "631" instead of "516"; that might do the trick.

I would like to add my most positive referral about Larry's work. He did a '62 T-10 for me and found things wrong with it I doubt anyone else could have (or would have bothered to check for in the first place!). Larry is an outstanding asset to this hobby, and as honest a guy as you would ever want to deal with.
