    Fuel Gauge

    Help!
Here's my problem. The gas gauge in my 65 coupe stays on full all the time. I know that per the manual this means that I don't have a dash ground but I have run a seperate wire from the attachment screw to a frame ground to no avail. Also, I have installed all new wiring harnesses from Eckler's, a new sending unit from E C Products and have had the gauge rebuilt by Corvette Clocks by Roger. The only Time the needle move's is when I disconnect the gauge connection. Has anyone out there had this same problem? If so what is the fix? I know I am overloking something but can't figure out what it is.

Check the ground from the IP harness to the Instrumant cluster. It is a one way connector that plugs into a blade terminal at the top of the cluster. I can become undone easily when manipulating the cluster into place

Thanks for the input.I went out this A.M. and checked the connection at the dash. All feels tight but when I get a chance I will try tightening the screw at the blade connector.
