I have a small metal tag fastened to the side cover on a C1 (62) that has the letter 'K' stamped on it. And this indicates???

1962 Corvette 4-speed transmission side cover metal tag "K" indicates internal gears 2.54:1 (1st); 1.92:1 (2nd); 1.51:1 (3rd); and 1:1 (4th) were used. -
