Dip Stick Tube Installation Help Please

I had to remove the dipstick tube on my '62 to install headers. The old tube came out in two pieces. Now I need to install the new (GM) dipstick tube. Does anyone have any recommendations for installing? It seems to be quite a tight fit. Hand inserting only gets about 1/8" in. I seem to remember seeing a driver of some sort that would rest on the "bead" and could be tapped with a hammer. Any help would be much appreciated.
    Thanks, Denny

Denny, I used a 10" length of 1/2" copper pipe with 5" worth removed to form a cavity for the dipstick tube. Worked great.

Brian, I have used a crow's foot wrench on a 3/8th extension with good results

Hi Denny, A open end wrench that catches the lip worked great for me. Just used a hammer and drift to hit the wrench same idea as the crows foot.
