Can a crack in a exhaust manifold be repaired or do I need to replace the manifold,part 3797902. The crack is about an inch long. Local muffler shop said it could be welded by a machine shop.

There are some great repair techniques using special welding rods from Cecil B. Muggy that Joe Lucia has mentioned here in the past. I haven't actually ordered any of the kits to try myself, but, as you can see from their website, they sound like the right way to go. URL attached...Craig
