1978 Delco Radio Knobs -- Joe, Can you Give P/N?

I'm working to re-install the original 1978 AM/FM/8-Track in my Silver Anniversary, but the knobs on the unit are not original. The outer knobs are earlier 70's style with the pictograms of a radio signal and a musical note. Dr. Rebuild sells an outer knob with GM #459364. Are these the original style for 1978?

Also, the inner tone/balance "wheels" that I have show a P/N 3986873 on the back. They are black with a chrome outer ring and tab. Are these correct for '78 or were these the earlier 70's style too? I've been looking for used for some time, but no luck. Apparently these aren't in reproduction.

I believe that the GM #459364 knob should be the original style for your 78. This knob is used for both the tuning and volume controls.

The inner knob for your application was GM #459365. The GM #3986873 was, indeed, applicable to 72-76 models.

Both the GM #459364 and the GM #459365 knobs are GM-discontinued.
